Tanzania, known for its rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant communities, serves as the backdrop for this impactful internship program. Throughout the course of the program, you will have the privilege of engaging with local communities, experiencing firsthand the realities of mission work, and developing valuable skills to contribute to the mission field.

 

The program is divided into three distinct phases, each with its own objectives and areas of focus. During the seven weeks of urban ministry, you will be immersed in the dynamic urban environment of Tanzania, engaging with diverse populations and ministries. This phase will expose you to the complexities and challenges of ministering in an urban setting, providing invaluable insights into community development, evangelism, and discipleship. Going into schools, hospitals, cities, local urban villages, coffee shops, college ministries and church ministries.

 

Following the urban ministry phase, you will embark on a two-week bush ministry journey. This period will take you to two different rural areas, where you will witness the unique challenges faced by communities in remote regions. From providing practical assistance to sharing the love of Christ, you will gain a deeper understanding of the holistic approach required for effective ministry in such contexts. Hands-on ministry to children, men and women with a focus on prayer, helping and teaching the word of God.

 

In the final week of the program, you will have the opportunity to engage in Muslim ministry on the captivating island of Zanzibar. This experience will offer a distinct perspective on cross-cultural engagement, enabling you to learn about and engage with the Islamic faith while sharing the transformative message of Jesus Christ.

 

Throughout the entire program, you will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced missionaries and ministry leaders. They will help you process your experiences, develop practical ministry skills, and discern your future involvement in mission work. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to connect with local organizations on the ground, paving the way for potential long-term partnerships.

 

We believe that this internship program will not only equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills but also challenge you to grow spiritually and personally. By stepping out of your comfort zone and embracing the diverse cultural landscape of Tanzania, you will gain a broader perspective on global missions and deepen your understanding of God's heart for all people.
